Fifty years of Western New York tree work, one specialty added
Tree Plucker grew out of Weimer Tree Co to focus on the jobs regular crews turn down: trees too large, too close to a structure, or too risky to climb.
Our story
Built to handle the tree nobody else wants to touch
Weimer Tree Co has served Western New York for more than 50 years. In 2017, owner Greg Weimer launched Tree Plucker as the large-tree removal arm of the family business, built around a radio-controlled crane and grapple saw that most residential tree services simply don't own.
That equipment changes what's possible: oversized trees leaning on a roofline, hazardous trees over a fence or pool, storm-damaged trees too unstable to climb. Sections are cut and lifted clear by crane instead of dropped or climbed, which means a safer job for the crew and a lot less risk to your property.

Leadership
Owner-operated, hands on every job
Tree Plucker is owned and run by Greg Weimer. On most jobs that means the person who quoted the work is the same person running the crane on removal day, not a rotating crew with no continuity.
The equipment list (radio-controlled crane, grapple saw, backyard man lift, low-impact stump grinder) exists because it lets a small, accountable crew take on jobs that would otherwise need a much bigger operation.
